Cookie notice
Clear choices, limited tracking.
Effective October 8, 2026. This notice describes cookies and similar browser storage used on the Palisaro website.
Necessary storage.
Necessary storage supports features you ask to use, including your project list, quote draft, cookie preference and secure administrator access. It stays enabled when you decline optional analytics.
A necessary preference cookie and browser storage remember your choice for up to 180 days. The preference cookie does not contain your IP address. Analytics, including full-IP collection, is optional and never classified as necessary. Project and quote information is kept separately from optional analytics.
Optional analytics.
Full IP addresses are stored on our server, not inside the necessary preference cookie. Choosing Necessary only disables this analytics logging and page-visit tracking.
With your consent, Palisaro tracks activity on this website to understand traffic, product interest and how visitors reach our enquiry flow. This includes page paths, referring pages, campaign information, screen dimensions, browser and operating-system information, device category and approximate region. With your permission, our server records your full IP address alongside the visit. Authorised Palisaro administrators can view it in a login-protected dashboard to understand website traffic and repeat network activity. An IP address can identify a shared connection or VPN, and does not by itself identify a person. For visits recorded after accepting this updated notice, visitor records including full IP addresses are retained for up to 365 days, then deleted. Full IP addresses from earlier consent remain subject to their original 30-day limit.
First-party analytics uses a random session-storage identifier to group visits within a browser tab. When analytics is accepted, the signed preference cookie also contains a random browser identifier for up to 180 days, supporting return visits. It is removed from the replacement cookie when analytics is declined. When Google Analytics is configured, it may also record quote-start, quote-submission, email-link and phone-link events, including relevant product or category references, and use its own analytics cookies. These events do not include the contents of your quote form.
Optional analytics stays off until you accept it or enable it and save your preferences. Visitors who accepted an earlier notice are asked again before linked enquiry activity is enabled. Earlier activity collected under the old choice is not used to match enquiries. We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal information.
Click heatmaps.
With optional analytics enabled, we group click positions on public pages into coarse cells to show which areas are used most. Daily totals are kept separately for desktop, tablet and mobile layouts for up to 90 days. Heatmap totals contain no IP address or browser identifier. We do not record screenshots, session video, mouse movements, form contents or typed text. Form controls and private areas are excluded. Turning off analytics stops future click collection.
Linking activity to enquiries.
With this updated optional analytics choice, we record product-link clicks and the time a page remains visible, in addition to visits. If you submit a waitlist, contact or quote form, authorised administrators can associate your submission with consented activity from the same browser, including subsequent return visits. This helps us understand your product interests and respond to your enquiry.
We also use a keyed hash of the network IP address to show possible matches within 24 hours before or after a submission. Shared networks and VPNs can include other people, so these matches are labelled uncertain and excluded from same-browser totals. A browser match also does not prove who was using the device. Activity, identifiers and linking context are retained for up to 365 days. Declining analytics prevents this optional association; forms and quotes remain available.
How activity data is used.
Consented activity data is sent to Palisaro’s analytics endpoint and stored when our database is connected. It may be synchronised with our backend reporting systems to measure visits, understand catalogue use, review enquiry conversions and improve the website. If configured, Google Analytics also processes analytics events for these purposes. Our hosting, storage and analytics providers may process data outside Canada.
This permission covers the analytics described here. It is not consent to unrelated marketing or a new tracking purpose. Quote and contact records are retained separately for responding to your request, while optional activity associations require the analytics permission above, as explained in our privacy notice.
Personalised email links.
Our outreach emails may contain Palisaro links with a random reference associated with the business lead receiving the email. When one is requested, we retain compact daily totals of link requests, a likely-scanner count, the last landing-page path and request time for up to 90 days. These request counters do not store IP addresses, browser identifiers or full user agents, and do not establish who opened the link. Automated security scanners, forwarded emails and shared mailboxes can generate requests.
Only after you accept this updated optional analytics choice do we retain the reference in session storage and associate subsequent page visits, product-link clicks and visible-page duration in that tab with the outreach lead. This campaign association lasts up to 90 days and is shown to authorised administrators to understand product interest and follow up. It does not verify personal identity. The token contains no email address or other contact details, and is not passed to third-party analytics. Declining analytics prevents this browsing association and clears the optional session reference. You can change your choice through Cookie preferences.
Your choices.
Use Manage cookies to review the categories, turn optional analytics on or off and save your preferences. Choose Necessary only to decline all optional analytics. You can reopen these settings here or through Cookie preferences in the footer at any time.
Turning analytics off stops future optional analytics and clears the first-party session identifier and removes the optional browser identifier from the replacement preference cookie. It does not recall data already sent or erase previously stored records. You can clear website data in your browser to remove remaining cookies, which may also reset your project list and preferences. Contact contact@palisaro.com for questions about access or deletion.
Future services.
If we add a service or purpose that changes these practices, we will update this notice and request a new choice where appropriate before activating nonessential tracking.
